The dictionary says a hermitage is “a place where one can live in seclusion; a retreat.” We have one at Easy Yoke Ranch. The entire ranch, of course, is meant to be a place where one can have some seclusion and retreat from the fast pace of modern life, but we have a cabin that serves this function in a special way. It is a hermitage where one individual can settle in for a weekend, a week or even a month.

It is a year-around cabin (with both heating and cooling) and has full cooking facilities so you can be self-sufficient, either preparing your own food or making use of pre-prepared meals available from us.

What you do while staying in the hermitage is not that different from what you would do if staying in a room in the lodge for a private retreat, but it does have a greater degree of seclusion. Planning your private retreat is something with which we can help and we have personnel available to meet with you daily for personal assistance in your retreat process if you wish.
